And since more purchases begin with search engine finds than any other marketing tool on the Internet, it only makes sense that you should make it part of your site launch [or re-launch] to sit down and plug away day and night for 1-2 long days; manually adding your site to each and every known search engine. As you go through our list of search engines, remember: We recommend SUBMITTING YOUR SITE TO AS MANY OF THEM AS POSSIBLE. Still, there are only a few hundred bonafide, individual search engines that accept URL additions for their own database. Some engines on our list may now only be "meta" search engines; meaning they use the databases of various other engines and do not accept submissions. As you go through our list of engines, you'll learn to quickly scan their homepages for "add site," or "add url" buttons. In some cases, you can click EDIT [top of screen] and then FIND in your web browser to try to look for words like "URL" or "site" on the page whenever an engine makes it particularly difficult to notice their submission button. Not every engine on the list will allow submissions.. Don't let that frustrate you... keep moving from engine to engine...marketing & promoting your site at as many places as allowable!
